Taylor Experience and Qualifications: SARAH TAYLOR’S SURVIVAL GUIDE TO REAL ESTATE It can not be just a job - you must love what you do, to make the sacrifices necessary for success.. You must enjoy people, all kinds, and have lots of patience. You must be direct and bottom line oriented, otherwise you will waste lots of time. You must enjoy re-inventing your product and yourself, so that you both don’t become stale You must have a thick skin to tolerate your competition. You must be a problem solver and enjoy a challenge. These are the skills and attributes I bring to the table after 25 years of being in real estate. I learned the business in Manhattan where I sold condos and coops. I have been a licensed agent in Baltimore for 20 years. I sold new construction (lofts in Manhattan) and Leed certified, energy efficient homes in Baltimore City, where I was the sales manager for a large builder. However, what suits me best is working in the small, professional environment I find myself in now. It allows me to focus on what I should be focused on – my buyers or sellers best interests. I have two sons and live in Baltimore County. I grew up in Connecticut and attended Connecticut College, where I studied theater and English. |
